Eric Delgado“B-Boy Wicked” 

B-Boy Wicked is no stranger in the World of Breaking! He started to break at the young age of 7 in 1981.. 43 years ago! 

Bboy Wicked became a member of  “Phaze II crosstown crew” established in Chicago in 1982! 

Since then he has been dancing all over the world and has won various competitions in Chicago, throughout the U.S.A and international!

Bboy Wicked has been a part of many successful events and theater shows, all of this success has helped establish bboy Wicked to be recognized throughout the world as one of the best to come out of Chicago and USA. 

In 1998 Wicked and his crew Phaze II earned a trip to Germany’s legendary “Battle Of The Year” To represent Chicago USA. they earned 3rd place out of many crews that were there from all over the world. This moment gave Wicked and Phaze II the Title of “Putting Chicago Breaking on the map” on an international level!

Bboy Wicked has been teaching the art of Breaking for 23 years! 

Took on the challenge of building his city through positive movement using hip hop culture education with high quality workshops, bringing special guests from all over the world to his Breaking events to teach and inspire the youth here in the midwest area. He has and is still traveling throughout the U.S. & international doing workshops and judging competitions.

 

What to expect from class!

Cultivating Creativity  | Art of Breaking 

Fundamentals to Evolution

-Top Rock  (traditional dance steps with some history info) 

-Drops ( ways to transition to the floor or into the next move

-Footwork (the essence of Breaking/ footwork basics/ patterns)

-Lost art of Back Rocking (learning ways to be creative while rocking on your back)

-The art of freezes

-End with Applying concepts to the steps learned, like traveling , Hand styles, Grooving!

 

The Goal is always to educate and give students a solid understanding of the Breaking art form and Hip Hop Culture,

Its origins and evolution.

But also to show that anyone can Break.
