Jalyn Willis
Drawn to movement through freestyle at a young age, Jalyn Willis first discovered dance as a language, an instinctive form of expression long before it became a refined craft. Originally from South Bend, Indiana, she is now a Chicago-based dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Jalyn began her journey on two dance teams in Indiana, later traveling to seek growth, challenge, and community as she expanded her training in Chicago. A three-time Monsters Show nominee, she has taught in New York at Modega and Brickhouse (2025), at Reveal Chicago as a Teacher Scout Winner (2025), and currently holds a teaching slot at Rhythmhood Snipes Studio in Chicago teaching intermediate/advanced choreography. She’s claimed the titled of Finalist at Kinship CLRMND November of 2025 & top 16 at Windy City Throwdown August of 2026. In January of 2026 Jalyn performed in her first show with crash, LXIV (six.four) at their residency at Knox College and has been working with Crash since. In May of 2026, Jalyn was recruited to join the hip hop crew, Rhythm Kidz. Still a devoted student and lover of the craft, Jalyn remains deeply passionate about learning from every facet of dance, from freestyle and choreography to foundational technique and intensive performance training.
