June Barrows
Hannah June “Junebug” Barrows is a dancer, freestyler, and choreographer currently based in Chicago, Illinois. Born and raised in Boston, she trained in jazz, contemporary, modern, and ballet before deepening her classical foundation at the Boston Ballet School in Newton, Massachusetts.
After three years, she shifted her focus toward hip hop choreography, which led her into freestyle training in popping, animation, and tutting. Junebug has trained with influential artists including Stiggity Stackz in Boston, NVNO in Rhode Island, and Slim Boogie in Los Angeles.
Throughout her career, she has performed and competed with award-winning crews Liv3lihood in Providence and NA in Boston. In summer 2023, Junebug and Liv3lihood traveled to Los Angeles to compete in the World of Dance Finals, placing fourth internationally.
An active battler across the United States, she has competed and placed at events including Stackin Stylez in Boston, Thrillah In The Rivah in Providence, and the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Finals in Chicago. Junebug is driven by a commitment to craft, freestyle exploration, and community connection.
