Join us for Gala LXIV (six.four)– Chicago Dance Crash’s biggest celebration of the year! The benefit will take place on Monday, May 19th, from 6:30 PM-9:00 PM at Hairpin Arts Center in Chicago’s Logan Square.
Be among the first to witness the world premiere of “Immortal Games”, a new work and excerpt from Crash’s upcoming repertory production LXIV (six.four). Choreographed by James Morrow, this electrifying work explores the tactical brilliance of chess with the raw intensity of dance battles, pushing the boundaries of embodied play through athleticism and strategic precision.
This exclusive preview features live musical accompaniment by composer Rob Flax, who will create the score in real time using an interactive musical chessboard played live by both Flax and Morrow.
