Rio Tec is a multidisciplinary artist and fashion enthusiast based in Chicago, Illinois. It’s just what he does.
Now in his second season with Chicago Dance Crash, Rio has performed in touring productions across the country, commercial engagements, and educational outreach programs. He has also contributed to the company’s educational mission by teaching classes and workshops.
Rio trains in breaking, hip hop, and commercial choreography, bringing an explosive physicality and commanding presence to every performance. His credits include appearances with A$AP Rocky (Don’t Be Dumb Tour – Chicago, 2026; Lollapalooza, 2025; Camp Flog Gnaw, 2025) and Soulja Boy (Coulda Been Tour, 2026, United Center).
