About the Teaching Artists!
Eric “B-Boy Wicked” Delgado

Eric Delgado, known worldwide as B-Boy Wicked, is a Chicago-born Mexican-American breaker with over four decades of experience in the art of Breaking. He began his journey at just seven years old in 1981 and became a member of Phaze II Crosstown Crew, one of Chicago’s pioneering Breaking crews, in 1982. Since then, B-Boy Wicked has traveled the world, winning competitions and earning international recognition as one of the best to emerge from Chicago and the U.S.A.

A defining moment in his career came in 1998, when Wicked and Phaze II represented Chicago and the U.S.A. at the legendary Battle of the Year in Germany, securing third place and solidifying Chicago’s place on the international Breaking map.

Beyond battling, B-Boy Wicked has played a vital role in building and uplifting his city through Breaking and Hip-Hop education. For over 23 years, he has been teaching, mentoring, and curating workshops that inspire new generations of dancers. He has brought world-renowned artists to the Midwest for Breaking events, ensuring that the culture continues to evolve and thrive. His influence extends across the U.S. and internationally, where he continues to teach, judge competitions, and spread the knowledge of Breaking as both an art form and a movement for positive change.
