Tristen “Penny” Green is a Chicago-based movement artist specializing in House, Waving, and Animation. Born in Harvey and raised on the South Side, he has taught a wide range of styles, from ballroom dance to experimental movement, using dance as both a form of therapy and a tool for community building. A champion of Chicago Tribes’ 20th Anniversary 2v2 House Battle in 2024, Penny is dedicated to preserving the culture of dance while inspiring future generations to find freedom, joy, and connection through movement.
