Chicago Dance Crash invites you to a FREE open dress rehearsal of “Jackmate”, a structured freestyle to be premiered at the 2024 Chicago Live! Dance Festival. Featuring twelve dance artists and a live DJ, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the live creation of a full-length dance work in an intimate studio setting. A talkback with Crash Artistic Director KC Bevis and Chicago Dance Crash ensemble artists will be offered to attendees following the performance. During the talkback, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions about the work and engage directly with Crash artists. The event will take place at Visceral Dance Center from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM on September 19, 2024.
