The Trials of Busta Keaton
What happens when you place a progressive, urban palette in the world of Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, and the happy-go-lucky "picture show?" ...hopefully something along the lines of Crash's upcoming all-original production!
Perhaps our most experimental show to date, "Busta" combines the seemingly uncombinable as conceptualizers Christopher Courtney and Michael Dice Jr. take you on an ethereal journey of bowler hats and Converse sneakers, slapstick and pop & lock.
Come witness your favorite leaps, turns, and freezes where even the dancers themselves are colored entirely in black and white!
"It was smart, no doubt, and now that I've let it marinate over a good night's sleep I might even call it brilliant. But how it made me feel is a different story. Did I laugh? Yes. Did I cry? Yes. Was I scared? Yes. Was it disturbing? Yes. At times Busta was so creepy and intense that I wanted to go home and watch Black Swan to make me feel better. " -ChicagoNow.com
