Dance Crash deftly combines art and action in 'Tiger Prawn'
Chicago Dance Crash doesn’t shy away from big philosophical issues. But its original movement plays aren’t excessively weighty either. … It’s an intriguing premise that gains momentum from Michael Dice Jr.’s narration and percussionists Andrew Reidenbach and Ryan Deeter pounding out rhythms from the catwalks. The ninja-clad dancers portraying the Kouken are a perpetual stage presence, resembling fierce warriors or a wildly revolving physics experiment.
