“Hope Through Dance” is a two night festival bringing together performance companies and dancers in honor of Laura Maceika. The goal of this event is to use dance to deepen audiences’ understanding of the artist’s experience, to provide an outlet for dancers to enrich their lives and further their careers, and finally to support the Laura Twirls Foundation, an organization set-up to honor young dancers with scholarships and to provide financial support to mental health facilities focused on assisting survivors of suicide.
