Qwan Sauce!

Crash's first live-action dance movie!

A boy from the wrong side of the tracks enters the thrust space of Theatre Building Chicago and puts everything on the line with a young, aspiring, school-for-the-arts bound ballerina. Crash’s own Daniel Qwan Gibson will enter this fictitious but familiar story of struggle, overcoming adversity, and second chances. Through foreseen obstacles, seemingly disparate Worlds will somehow collide and come together… through dance. Expect a show-stopping finale that breaks down barriers of class, race, and form. (Nick Cannon will not be appearing in Qwan Sauce.)

Web & Graphic Designer for Dance Crash Tributes The King

During the time he is not working on the website or designing posters for Crash, he is commuting to and from work. It looks something like this.

Laura Elizabeth Maceika 1987-2009

With heavy hearts, Chicago Dance Crash is saddened to lose the closest of friends and a cherished soul with the passing of company member Laura Maceika, who died this past weekend at the young age of 21. Described by Artistic Director Kyle Vincent Terry as a “poetic mover” and “the bird in flight,” the native of Woodstock, IL left high school at 16 to work toward a professional dance career, training at Milwaukee Ballet, the Joel Hall Dance Center, and at the Performing Arts of Spring Grove under Alyce Keaggy Brinkmann, where she met Crash Senior Company Member Lyndsey Rhoads.
